The World of Sayoko Hayashi’s Creative Quilts — Exhibition Record Book
The World of Sayoko Hayashi’s Creative Quilts will be held at the Annex Hall of the Museum of Kyoto from October 22 to 25, 2026.
We plan to bring together the memories of this exhibition in a single book.
The exhibition space where twenty large-scale tapestries are displayed together, visitors engaging with the artworks, concerts held on two evenings, and the various materials that helped shape the exhibition.
Unlike a catalogue devoted primarily to the artworks themselves, this book will document the scenes and moments that come to life in this particular place, at this particular time.
A catalogue of the exhibited works, accompanied by small photographs, is also planned.
The book will be edited and produced after the exhibition, with delivery scheduled for around March 2027.
About the Record Book
A4 format · Approximately 100 pages (planned)
Reservations and Sponsorship
Those who support the exhibition with a contribution of ¥5,000 will receive one copy of the record book as a token of our appreciation.
Sponsorship contribution: ¥5,000 per unit (shipping within Japan included)
One copy will be provided for each unit of sponsorship. Online applications are available for one to five units.

Cash contributions are also welcome at the exhibition venue.
